Francisco HERRERA
Guitar teacher, composer and musicologist

Mariel WEBER, was born in Sallanches (France). Along with her academic studies, she also learned music, theory, harmony, counterpoint, piano, and organ. In 1970 she married the guitarist Francisco Herrera and consequently became interested in research within the musical field. Together they have achieved a detailed dictionary of dance, called "Dictionnaire de la Danse", the work contains more than 2000 dances from all countries and periods, and was published in 1975 by the Ediciones Musicales Piles from Valence, Spain.

She has made a vital contribution to this encyclopedia.

Italian Guitarist, Musicologist and Physicist

Mr Pocci is the author of
Guide to the Guitarist's Modern and Contemporary Repertoire

In 1999 Mr. Pocci was awarded the "Chitarra d'oro per la ricerca musicologica" (Gold guitar for the musicological research).
